What is collected

• Your email address, if you join the first-chapter list. It is used to send the chapter and occasional news about the book. Every message carries an unsubscribe link.
• Server logs. Hosting infrastructure records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the site secure and running.
• Email. If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send.

What is not done

• No advertising or cross-site tracking.
• No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties for their own marketing.
• No cookies beyond what the hosting platform needs to serve the site.

Legal basis

Where the GDPR applies, processing is based on your consent when you join the list, and on legitimate interest in operating and securing this site. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or writing to us.
